Hydrogen workshops in the Seine River Valley

In order to generate input for its scenarios on the development of hydrogen transport infrastructures, GRTgaz is continuing its interaction with local-level players.

After those held in Dunkirk, Fos-sur-Mer and Lyon, a workshop was organised in the Seine River Valley on 28 September 2022, in partnership with the Normandy Region, the Normandy delegation of France Hydrogène, Normandie Énergies, Haropa Port and the Rouen Métropole CCI.

"Some thirty players gathered to share their expectations and needs - industrial players, local authorities, and mobility and logistics players. This was a first stage in identifying and qualifying needs before proceeding with feasibility studies. To take this process further and bring together a community of players, GRTgaz is now proposing an opportunity study on the transport of hydrogen by pipeline as part of the ZIBaC call for projects and is inviting the players in the Seine River Valley to join this process and co-construct an infrastructure in line with their needs”, says Nadjma Ahamada, Deputy Territorial Delegate for the Seine River Valley at GRTgaz.
