Information about cookies

When viewing our website, information relating to your browsing may be recorded in “Cookie” files installed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), according to your cookies preferences, which can be changed at any time.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a little text, image or software file containing information. It is stored on the hard disk of your device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone, or any device allowing you to use the internet) when you view a website using your web browser. It is sent to your browser by the website’s server. Cookie files relate in particular to the pages visited, the type of browser that you use and your IP address. They allow the sender to identify the device on which they are stored throughout the validity or storage period of the cookie in question.

Only the sender of a cookie can read or modify the information it contains.

Cookies improve your experience of our website, and are required to access certain secure spaces.

As stated on the website’s information banner, you accept that cookies are stored on your device when you view the site. You can review this decision at any time by objecting to cookies being stored (see below: blocking cookies).

Why do we use cookies?

We use three categories of cookies, the purposes of which are described below.

Some technical cookies (session cookies, in particular) are essential for the proper functioning of the website. Deleting them may lead to problems with browsing, with users being unable to subscribe to our offers online.

1. Technical cookies

Technical cookies are strictly necessary for the functioning of the website. They allow access to members-only and personal areas of our website using personal identifiers (session identifier cookies). They also allow us to set up security measures (e.g. the requirement to login again for a content or service after a certain amount of time), and enable or facilitate communications for the electronic provision of a service expressly requested by an internet user. These cookies are deleted as soon as you end your browsing session.

These cookies are sent and stored by our Company. They have a very short lifespan. In most cases, this is the length of the browsing session, up to a maximum period of one year.

2. Cookies for measuring website traffic - compiling statistics

These cookies collect information about the way that visitors use a website. For example, the number of visits, the most frequently visited pages, etc. These cookies enable us to compile statistical analyses, which can then be used to improve our website’s content according to the popularity of this or that page with our visitors.

Our Company uses a statistical tool that generates a cookie with a unique identifier that lasts a maximum of six months. We collect the IP address to identify the town or city where the login takes place. The last two bytes are immediately anonymized. The data collected are not transferred to third parties or used for any other purposes.

3. Social media cookies

Our website features buttons (“plug-ins”) for sharing via Facebook, Twitter and Google+. These allow you to share the content of our website with other people. When you use these sharing buttons, your internet browser will set up a connection with the servers of the social networks in question, and a third-party cookie is installed with your consent. If you are logged into a social network while browsing our website, the sharing buttons enable the contents that you view to be linked to your user account.

In this respect, the purposes and scope of the use of your data, its additional processing and your rights will be subject to the confidentiality policies of the social network providers and under their sole, entire responsibility.

How to manage your cookies?

You have several options when it comes to managing your cookies. Any settings changes that you make are likely to alter both your web browsing and your access conditions for services that require the use of Cookies.
