On 13 January 2022, the CRE approved the new terms and conditions of the contract for the connection and injection of biomethane production units to the GRTgaz network.

In these new terms and conditions, GRTgaz increased its commitment to the availability of its facilities from 95% to 97%. This commitment is possible when the productors communicate their scheduled maintenance shutdowns as well as their gas quality data to GRTgaz.

These new general conditions also incorporate recent regulatory developments such as the access fee or the medium pressure shared network made possible by the right to injection.

Initiated at the end of 2020 by GRTgaz, the general conditions were the subject of an injection WG consultation in 2021 and then a consultation with the stakeholders concerned. They are now approved by the CRE and apply, as of right, to all existing and future contracts.
