QUALITY

In order to develop high quality services and constantly increase customer satisfaction, GRTgaz commissioned an audit of its management system.
GRTgaz has been awarded ISO 9001 certification for all its services. The main requirements for this are: a high quality management system, management accountability, resource management, product realisation and measurement, analysis and continuous improvement.
The commitment of GRTgaz’s teams to the quality system, the adoption of the process-focussed approach and attention to detail in the management of operational activities, are the strengths identified by the certifying body, DNV.

With regard to environmental management, GRTgaz also scored highly on its sustained efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its activities.
Ten compressor stations have already been given ISO 14 001 certification, in particular for the clean condition of their sites and the operational management of environment-related activities.
By 2010, GRTgaz aims to achieve ISO 14001 certification for all its compressor stations.
This process is already underway within the framework of the OSCAR (Compressor Station Optimisation and Network Adaptation) program set up by GRTgaz.
